Our Story

 

We remember the day we brought our little one home. It was a whirlwind of joy, exhaustion, and a whole lot of love. We also remember the challenges of navigating a world that often seemed oblivious to our family's unique dynamic. We remember the feeling of walking into a store, searching for a simple t-shirt, only to be met with generic designs that didn't reflect our reality. As queer dads, we yearned for something more - something that celebrated our love and the unique bond we share with our kids. That's when the idea for Pride & Parenting was born.

We have both had the pleasure of being educators and educational administrators and we know the importance of visibility when it come to mattering and belonging. We wanted to create a brand that would make other LGBTQ+ parents feel seen and supported. A brand that would celebrate the beauty of our families and the love we share with our child. With Pride & Parenting, we hope to inspire others to embrace their true selves and live authentically.
